I have had re-occuring problems with my 2022 MB C300 infortainment system with screen black outs and glitches and squeaky - noisy passenger seat. Disappointed, loyal 20 year MB customer (3rd car).

Pros: Interior design is elegant. The screen is crisp and responsive. Steering wheel is smooth Cons: -Persistent Rattles: From the backseat to the seatbelt pillar, noises emerge over bumps and uneven roads. -Steering Wheel Noise: A leather-like cracking sound when turning the wheel -Underbody clanking: The most frustrating issue is an unmistakable rattle or clank from underneath the car, over speed bumps and when driving at ~30 mph on imperfect roads. It sounds like a loose part and is driving me crazy. -Initial diagnosis pointed to the right front strut, which was replaced but the noise persisted. - A trusted dealer later identified the heat shields as the source of the clanking. Apparently, this is a known issue with the platform. I drove 2 loaners, a 2025 CLE and a 2025 C-class and both had the exact same clanking noise. Mercedes seems to have traded build quality for digital flair, and the result is disappointing. I’m eagerly awaiting the registration papers just to sell it and likely switching to a BMW 330i
